He was a member of the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) Green Nest Eco-House team that won first overall in Oman International Eco-House Design Competition in Muscat, Oman. The team swept the first place in Sustainability, Engineering, Energy Balance, Appliances, Lighting and Electronics. The winning Eco-House is the future energy sustainable architecture and engineered residential building in the circular carbon-free economy. Rene heads the Triton’s R&D and one of their products is the Smart Metre Circuit Breaker for residential building intended for the future smart grid.
